Making an Appointment



    • Appointments can be made by e-mail (cschultzdvm@gmail.com) or by telephone.  225-362-4926 goes directly to Dr. Carrie’s cell phone. I am often unable to answer the phone, since I do not take phone calls in client’s homes.  I am usually able to return your call within 1-2 hours, and sometimes much sooner; please leave a message with your name and phone number and your call will be returned shortly. Please leave both a daytime and evening contact number if they are different.

    • Give as much information as possible when setting up your appointment, so we can be sure that we bring all the supplies we might need.

    • In some instances, we must ask that the house call fee be paid in advance as a nonrefundable deposit, which will be applied to your bill at the time of your appointment. We can take credit card information over the phone or you can pay on the website through PayPal. See “Preparing for your first appointment” for helpful tips to avoid losing this deposit.

    • It’s good to set aside up to 2 hours for an initial appointment – after this initial appointment, things usually go much faster, and appointments generally run less than an hour. We have appointment times available as early as 7am or as late as 8pm (For safety reasons, the latest available time for most first-time clients is usually 5pm)
